Directions
Step 1: Heat 2 tbsp oil in a large pan over high heat.
Step 2: Toss beef strips with flour until completely covered. Brown beef on all sides, remove from pan and reserve.
Step 3: Heat remaining oil over high heat. Sautee onions and peppers until starting to brown, about 5 minutes.
Step 4: Pour red wine into pan to deglaze, scraping the bottom of the pan with a wooden to spoon to remove the little brown bits stuck on the pan. Cook until pan is almost dry before adding tomatoes and iSpice WellnessTM Meat Sauce Seasoning.* Bring to the boil, reduce to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes over low heat.
Step 5: Add beef back to sauce and cook for another 20 minutes over low heat.
Step 6: Meanwhile, cook polenta.
Step 7: Bring water, milk and iSpice WellnessTM Salad Seasoning* to a boil in a large pot.
Step 8: Pour polenta into boiling liquid while whisking continuously until completely smooth. Lower heat to low and switch to a wooden spoon, stirring continuously until polenta starts to thicken up.
Step 9: Cover pot and cook for 20 - 30 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes until polenta is creamy and the grains are tender.
Step 10: Off the heat, add parmesan and butter and mix well to combine.
Step 11: Serve beef hot over polenta with extra cheese and chopped parsley.
