Banana Bread

Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Step 2

In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and melted butter.

Step 3

Add the baking soda and salt to the mixture and stir.

Step 4

Mix in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.

Step 5

Add the flour and mix until just combined.

Step 6

Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.

Step 7

Bake the banana bread for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Step 8

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely.

Step 9

Slice and serve your delicious homemade banana bread!
