In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix until well combined.
Add the softened butter, eggs, and warm milk to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it has doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
Roll out the dough into a rectangle shape, about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread the softened butter over the surface of the dough.
Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the buttered dough.
Starting at one end, tightly roll up the dough.
Cut the roll into 12-14 slices using a sharp knife or dental floss.
Place the slices into a greased baking dish, leaving a little space between each roll.
Bake the cinnamon rolls for 25-30 minutes or until they are golden brown.
While the cinnamon rolls are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add in the powdered sugar and vanilla extract and mix until a creamy frosting forms.
Once the cinnamon rolls are done baking, let them cool for a few minutes before spreading the cream cheese frosting on top.
