How to make monkey bread

Ingredients

  • 3 cans refrigerated biscuits (16.3 oz each)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

Step 2

Grease a bundt pan with cooking spray.

Step 3

Cut the refrigerated biscuits into quarters using a sharp knife

Step 4

In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon.

Step 5

Add the biscuit pieces to the bowl with the sugar mixture and toss until the biscuits are coated evenly.

Step 6

In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly.

Step 7

Add the vanilla extract to the butter mixture and stir to combine.

Step 8

Pour the melted butter mixture over the biscuit pieces, making sure to coat them well.

Step 9

Arrange the coated biscuit pieces in the greased bundt pan.

Step 10

Bake the monkey bread for 35-40 minutes or until it's golden brown on top.

Step 11

Let the monkey bread cool for a few minutes before flipping it out onto a plate.
