Pecan Pie

Pecan Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups pecans, chopped

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

Step 2

Roll out the pie crust and place it into a 9-inch pie dish.

Step 3

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the corn syrup, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

Step 4

Stir in the chopped pecans.

Step 5

Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.

Step 6

Bake the pie for 45-50 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.

Step 7

Let the pie cool completely before slicing and serving.
