  • 1 lb. string beans (sitaw), cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 lb. pork belly or pork shoulder, sliced into small pieces
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the garlic and onion, and sauté until the onion is translucent.

Step 2

Add the pork and cook until browned on all sides.

Step 3

Add the vinegar, soy sauce, and water to the pan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
