Pork Chops with Mushroom Sauce

Pork Chops with Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 4 (5 oz) pork chops
  • 4 tbsp iSpice WellnessTM Pork Seasoning,* divided
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, small dice
  • 1 lb. white mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups skim milk
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Directions

Step 1

Heat grill pan or cast-iron skillet over medium high heat. Rub pork chops with 3 tbsp of iSpice WellnessTM Pork Seasoning.*

Step 2

Sear pork chops for 5 minutes per side until pork is almost cooked. Remove chops from pan and reserve.

Step 3

Add onion, seasoning and mushrooms to pan and sautee over high heat for 5 minutes. Add flour and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 4

Add milk and Dijon, stir well. Add pork chops back to sauce. Reduce liquid for about 5 minutes until sauce is thick and chops are fully cooked.

Step 5

Serve pork chops smothered in sauce.
