Seared Orange Pork

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. pork tenderloin, sliced into 12 pieces
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • zest & juice of 1 large orange
  • 2 tbsp mirin cooking wine
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp iSpice World FlavorsTM Asian Seasoning
  • 4 green onions, thinly sliced
  • sesame seeds

Directions

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add half sesame oil.

Step 2

Sear pork 3 minutes per side, remove from pan.

Step 3

Add remaining oil to pan with soy sauce, brown sugar, orange juice, orange zest, mirin and iSpice World FlavorsTM Asian Seasoning.

Step 4

Bring sauce to a boil, reduce for 3-4 minutes until thick and syrupy.

Step 5

Add pork back to pan, toss in sauce to cover.

Step 6

Serve with sesame seeds and green onions over rice.
