Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 large Spanish onion, fine dice
  • 4 large carrots, peeled & fine dice
  • 4 celery stalks, fine dice
  • 4 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 3 Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled & cut into small cubes
  • 3 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 12 oz smoked salmon, small dice
  • 4 tbsp iSpice WellnessTM Seafood Seasoning*
  • 1/4 cup fresh chives, finely chopped

Directions

Step 1

Heat canola oil in a large soup pot over medium heat and sweat onion, carrots and celery until translucent.

Step 2

Sprinkle the flour over vegetables and stir well.

Step 3

Pour in milk, stirring continuously until smooth, follow with potatoes, vegetable broth and iSpice WellnessTM Seafood Seasoning.*

Step 4

Cook until potatoes are tender, stir in the smoked salmon and cook for 4 minutes.

Step 5

Garnish with fresh chives and serve hot.
