Chipotle Pepper Lemon Butter Sauce: A Spicy Sauce for Your Seafood Dish

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • 2 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Step 1

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.

Step 2

Add the minced garlic to the saucepan and cook for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the minced chipotle peppers, adobo sauce, and lemon juice to the saucepan. Mix everything together well.

Step 4

Simmer the sauce for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens slightly.

Step 5

Remove the saucepan from the heat and season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6

Allow the sauce to cool slightly before serving.

Step 7

Spoon the sauce over your favorite seafood dish and enjoy!
