Homemade Pickling Spice recipe
Ingredients

2 tablespoons of mustard seeds

2 tablespoons of coriander seeds

2 tablespoons of dill seeds

2 tablespoons of whole allspice

2 tablespoons of black peppercorns

1 tablespoon of whole cloves

1 tablespoon of crushed red pepper flakes

6 bay leaves, crumbled
-
1 cinnamon stick, broken into pieces

1 teaspoon of ground ginger
Directions
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix together all of the spices until well combined.
Step 2
Store the pickling spice in an airtight container until ready to use.
Step 3
To use the pickling spice, add 1-2 tablespoons of the mixture to your pickling liquid or to your jars of pickled vegetables.
