To accompany grilled meats, chimichurri is a popular sauce from Argentina. It is largely composed of parsley, coriander, cumin, oregano, and garlic to make the chimichurri. Chimichurri sauce may best be described in one word: vibrant. The herbaceous taste of fresh cilantro and parsley is enhanced by the addition of red pepper flakes.
Chimichurri spice combination is then added to oil and vinegar and mixed into a thick sauce.
Chimichurri is usually eaten with grilled meats in Argentina as part of the asado (or barbecue). Grilled steaks and chorizo sausage go well with this. This garlicky sauce may be used in a variety of ways. When marinating meats or veggies, this is an excellent choice.

How to store chimichurri seasoning herb :
Chimichurri sauce should be stored in the refrigerator in an airtight container. However, if you put it in a freezer bag, you may freeze it as well. The sauce will need to be defrosted, but it can be stored in the freezer for up to six months compared to only a few days in the fridge.
Is Chimichurri Sauce good for a long period of time?
Chimichurri Sauce that is produced fresh normally lasts for 5-7 days, although store-bought versions may last for up to 2-3 weeks when opened and stored in the fridge. Quality will deteriorate beyond certain time periods.
For the most part, store-bought Chimichurri sauces survive far longer than freshly produced sauces.
The freshness of the herbs and the method of preparation have a large role.
You'll note that the sauce darkens in color as time goes on, indicating that it's beyond its prime.
What Happens to Chimichurri in the Fridge?
Even in an airtight container, chimichurri sauce will go bad in the refrigerator. For the most part, this sauce is only good for a week or so before it begins to lose its potency.
These indicators will also be clearly visible. As a result of this, the sauce will lose its brilliant colour. Let's go on to the most important part: the flavor. Even if it's been refrigerated, it won't taste the same. In addition, the earthy aroma won't be present. This sauce is all about that!
