We’ve taken all the guesswork out of knowing how to season your food the healthy way.

Onion powder:

The quality of onion is critical when using it as a flavor in savory meals. Whole, white, field-grown onions are our starting point. Use it the same way you would use fresh onions in your cooking. There will be no peeling—nothing to cut. You won't see any tears rolling down your cheeks. The added benefit of onion powder is that it may be used in various ways in the kitchen.

For a full-bodied onion taste that permeates the whole meal, use it equally distributed throughout the dish. Incorporating it into a wide range of dishes, from soup to stew to creamy dip to salad dressing, is a simple way to add flavor to your food. Your onion powder should have a smoky, somewhat sweet aroma, like a freshly steamed entire onion. When it comes to cooking, onions or onion powder are essential ingredients.

An additional benefit of onion powder is that it may be used in the kitchen to make it even more helpful. It disperses evenly throughout the meal, imparting a rich, all-over onion taste to the finished dish. Add a little to soups and stews, use it to make creamy dips and salad dressings, flavor casseroles and vegetables, or use it as a basis for rubs and marinades to flavor meats and poultry.

To substitute for fresh onion, you may use onion powder. A half-cup of chopped fresh onion is equivalent to one tablespoon of onion powder. It's so simple. Add the onion powder to the dish and mix it in.

Onion powder lends itself well to dry rubs. We next add red pepper or cayenne to our pork ribs using onion powder, garlic powder, cumin, and thyme. Let the ribs marinate for at least an hour before roasting or grilling them.

Coriander seeds:

Corianderis a flavorful, high-antioxidant herb with many culinary and health applications. There is some evidence that it may help decrease your blood sugar and fight infections. Coriander seeds and leaves may be included in your diet. It's a common ingredient in Mexican, Latin, and Indian cuisines and Spanish and Mexican. Spice rubs, marinades, chilis, sauces, soups, and curries are all popular ways to include turmeric into your cooking. Coriander is classed as a kind of annual herb. It is commonly used in the kitchen for various functions, including adding a pleasant smell to the dish. In contrast to onions, it does not affect the flavor of the cuisine. Coriander's fruits and leaves are also utilized for medicinal purposes, as are the plant's seeds.

Coriander seed is beneficial in lowering harmful cholesterol levels while simultaneously increasing good cholesterol levels in the body. These are high in copper, zinc, iron, and other vital minerals, which help raise red blood cell count while also improving heart health. Coriander seeds are also beneficial in terms of improving metabolism.

Onions and coriander: what's the difference?

Onion is a kind of vegetable, whereas coriander is an herb.

The bulb of onion is edible, whereas the leaf and stem of the coriander are edible.

Onions develop tuber under the soil, but coriander grows above the ground.

Alert: While spices can have many beneficial properties for health, using them for medical purposes should be done under the guidance and supervision of a healthcare professional or specialist. Some spices may interact with medications or cause adverse reactions in certain individuals, and it is important to use them safely and appropriately. If you are considering using spices for a medical condition, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional before doing so.
